  1. About these Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions of business are between urbansketchcourse.com (“Urban Sketch Course”), and a student (“student”). They shall be deemed to have been accepted when the student uses the Urban Sketch Course website and services.

“Agreement” means this agreement including the form that the student completes online or otherwise setting out the student’s requirements, including details of fees payable to Urban Sketch Course by the student.

“student” shall mean the individual that enrols in a course or live workshop.

“Workshop” means a live workshop organized by Urban Sketch Course.

“Course” means the E-Learn courses, provided by Urban Sketch Course under this Agreement.

“Site” means the website(s) operated by Urban Sketch Course for the purpose of running the E-Learn and in person courses.


  1. Services

Under this Agreement the student will be provided with a login and password for access to the online course, to complete all modules.

As part of membership with Urban Sketch Course, the student will receive the following benefits:


Urban Sketch Course Students

Courses and workshops that have been purchased by the individual student, sketch gallery access.


In addition to this, Urban Sketch Course Plus Students will also receive:

Monthly training, events, critiques, exclusive content, and Facebook group.

If any of the above benefits changes, students must be given a month’s notice.


2. Payment of Fee

The student must pay the course fees in advance by credit/debit card or by direct bank transfer. Fees are set out within the registration section of the website.


3. Restrictions

For so long as the student is a party to this Agreement, they agree they will not:

  • Use the services for any unlawful activity.
  • Will ensure that all information provided to Urban Sketch Course is accurate, does not contain any misleading items or misrepresentations, does not infringe any other person’s rights, and does not breach any applicable law.
  • Attempt to access data or any parts of Urban Sketch Course’s system that it is not authorized to access.
  • Share their login information with non-members.
  • Share confidential information on social media that was meant for members only.
  • Reproduce any of the information received as part of their membership and share it with non-members.
  • Post inappropriate, inaccurate, or offensive content to the site or services, which Urban Sketch Course in its sole discretion considers offensive, immoral, abusive, indecent, or otherwise undesirable, and shall not use the Site or Services or any information from them for spamming or any other purpose not approved by us.
  • Harass another member of the community.
  • Upload an image that they don’t own the rights to.


4. Urban Sketch Course’s Rights & Liability

Urban Sketch Course cannot be held responsible for any events or meetups organized by students. Students should make this clear in the promotion for any organized event and not use Urban Sketch Course branding, logos, or marketing materials.

The student will not hold the Organization liable for any tangible or intangible damage that might happen to them while participating in the membership.

The student agrees that the Organization cannot guarantee any results from their membership. Any negative or positive results that might occur during the membership are the result of the students’s own personal choices.

Urban Sketch Course will endeavour to keep the Services working as often as possible but will not be responsible for any time for which it is unavailable, whether due to telecommunications or internet failures or otherwise. All users are responsible for taking appropriate measures against the risks associated with using the internet, including viruses and other harmful mechanisms, and Urban Sketch Course will not be liable to the student for any loss, damage, or liability caused by any such item.

Urban Sketch Course’s entire liability to the student, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall be limited to the fees paid by the student to Urban Sketch Course in the twelve months preceding the date on which such liability arose.

In no event will Urban Sketch Course be liable to the student for any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage, including lost profits, sales, business, data, goodwill, savings, or otherwise, however, caused (including by negligence).

Nothing in this Agreement limits Urban Sketch Course’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

If any of the preceding sub-clauses is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sub-clauses remain in full force and effect.

Urban Sketch Course will be developing its website and service further, so reserve the right: a. to make changes to the Site and Services; and b. to render the Services unavailable for periods where this is necessary for development or maintenance.


5. Image Upload & Copyright

Before uploading any photo to our site, please carefully read the following terms and conditions of use. When any photograph is uploaded onto this website, the student has agreed of the terms and conditions of our Sketch Gallery outlined below:



6. Live Workshops

When a student registers for a live workshop organised by Urban Sketch Course, they accept the workshop terms and conditions and cancellation policy. This can be found below:



7. Privacy

The Organization will not share any contact or personal information about the students with other students, non-members, or any third parties.  Our full privacy policy can be read here. 


8. Membership Termination

The Organization has a right to terminate the student’s membership if any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement are violated. The student can terminate their membership at any point and for any reason and will not be charged for their next billing cycle. Student’s can cancel their subscription online or by contacting our support team at [email protected]


9. Account Registration 

Please note that we only allow one account per individual customer and only one email address can be associated with an individual customer. The same also applies to subscriptions, courses, and workshops.

If you have created multiple accounts as an individual user, we will merge the accounts and contact you to see which account you would prefer to use.


10. Maintaining a Valid Email Address

Students should only register if they have a valid email address at the time of enrolment and they should ensure that they maintain a valid email address when using our website and services at all times.

This it allows us to contact users about their account, which includes important account information such as password resets, notifications, and security alerts.

Urban Sketch Course has the right to disable the students’s account if their email address becomes inactive or is not confirmed.


11. General

All copyright, trademarks, patents, database rights, and other intellectual property rights in the Site, Services, and underlying functions are the property of Urban Sketch Course or its licensors, and the student must not copy, alter, or otherwise infringe any such rights.

Notices must be sent in writing or by e-mail to the relevant party’s details set out in the registration form or otherwise properly notified to the other party. Notices are deemed received two working days after posting, and twenty-four hours after dispatch by e-mail.

This Agreement is the entire agreement between Urban Sketch Course and the student and supersedes all previous agreements and statements relating to its subject matter.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of United Kingdom and the student submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the United Kingdom courts.

The Federal Trade Commission’s Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) requires that Web Sites are to obtain parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from children under 13. If you are below 13 then you can NOT use this site. Do NOT enrol if you are below the age of 13 (thirteen).

If you are between the ages of 13 and 16 then you are free to take this course, but we do not recommend it for your age group due to some of the extensive techniques and concepts discussed within the modules. This course is more suited to those OVER the age of 16 (sixteen).

By registering to use this site you meet the above criteria and agree to abide by all of the above rules and policies.
